ARB - The Gear To Get You There (Yeah!)
Some marketing briefs ask you to explain a product. This one asked us to prove it.
"The Gear To Get You There" is a simple idea that only works if you actually take it somewhere worth going. So we did. The production began at a local ARB store in Victoria, and by the time we were done, we were deep in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.
The script was minimal by design. The visuals and the landscape were always going to do the heavy lifting. But the rhythmic, repetitive nature of the language creates a memorable hook that sticks with the viewer long after the footage ends.
Filming in remote, off-road locations presents logistical challenges you can't fully plan for. Dust, light, accessibility, terrain. Navigating all of it while keeping the production quality high is part of what makes the final result worth something. Easy locations produce forgettable images.
By focusing on the "there" in the slogan, the video gives the audience a tangible sense of adventure and a credible reason to trust the gear that made it possible. It's aspirational content that earns its aspiration by actually going to the places it's talking about.
