Brunswick Neighbourhood House - Awareness Campaign

Local community hubs are often the best-kept secret of their suburb. The Brunswick Neighbourhood House runs language classes, community gardening, social programs and more, yet it was reaching far fewer people than it deserved simply because it lacked a professional way to communicate what it offered in an increasingly digital-first world.

We recognised the importance of what BNH does for the Merri-bek area and chose to provide pro-bono production services to bridge that gap.

The approach was a condensed, high-impact shoot day designed to capture the authentic, multi-generational energy of the house without disrupting its daily programs. Real activities. Real participants. Real community, documented as it actually exists rather than performed for a camera.

The final video was delivered as a modular asset, purposefully designed so the BNH team could remix and distribute it across their social channels and website independently. That flexibility gives a small organisation a long-term marketing toolkit that would otherwise be financially out of reach.

It's a straightforward piece of work with an outsized community impact. And sometimes, that's the most rewarding kind of project to be part of.
