So we moved the production out of the studio entirely and into the rugged, expansive landscapes of South Australia, where Rheanna worked on her canvas against the backdrop of a striking mountain range.

The cinematic approach centred on juxtaposition. The fine, rhythmic details of the painting process cut against sweeping natural vistas that inform Rheanna's perspective. The intimate and the vast.
