Selling off the plan is a bit of a leap of faith. You're asking buyers to fall in love with a home that isn't finished yet.
That was the challenge creative agency, One Fell Swoop, brought to us for Dux Churchill, a seniors living development in Ringwood. The display apartment had just opened, and the video needed to make the rest of the building feel just as real.
The project's interior architect walks viewers through the design on camera. Starting with Ringwood's history as the fruit bowl of Melbourne, and how that idea of the harvest shaped the colour, symmetry and order of every space. From there it gets into the details that prospective buyers would look out for. Things like benchtops at a sensible height, easy-grip handles, plenty of storage and a smooth step into the shower.
As the building was still under construction, a fair bit of post-production was required to mask out the exterior scaffolding. The edit follows the client's script and keeps things calm and easy to follow, which suits the people it's made for.
Along with the hero walkthrough for the website and listing sites, we delivered four social cutdowns (two at 10 seconds and two at 15) with captions burnt in, plus separate caption files.
The feedback from the client: "Job (extremely) well done!"
